Devin Spear is chief engineer at Blue Room’s Herndon, VA music studio, and is a talented Virginia-based multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer. He aims to capture the vibe and vision of Blue Room clientele with authenticity and dedication, and is always excited to collaborate with clients, providing ideas, custom instrumentals and arrangements as desired. Devin is also passionate about teaching music production and audio engineering courses, and truly enjoys the personal, immersive, and fascinating art present in audio recording.

Devin brings a diverse range of musical taste and sensibilities to his recording sessions, and has studied countless musical measures and genres as a performer and accomplished session musician. As an engineer, he continues to hone his craft through experimentation and education on innovative means to record and achieve unique sonic landscapes.
