Meg Elizabeth is an upcoming vocal artist from the Washington, DC area (Pasadena, MD). At 17 years old, she already writes her own original songs, sings, and plays several different instruments. She writes from experience and tries to make her songs relatable to her listeners and truthful to herself as well. The instruments she plays include piano, guitar, alto saxophone, and the ukulele. She also studied and performed Jazz and Rock music at Berklee College of Music in Boston for five-week programs in 2011 and 2012. During this time, she was featured in Berklee’s Songwriter’s Sidewalk Songwriting Showcase Series for both 2011 and 2012. She has been featured in the Junior Senior showcase at Annapolis Area Christian School performing her own original music. She has also appeared in Several open mics around the State of Maryland as well as Massachusetts. Listeners who have heard Meg sing say “She sounds like the next Adele, but she still puts a spin on her music that keeps it relatable, but different and original than most of the music out there.”
